luxe 2.0 chrono 256.. few quick ?s

Just got a luxe 2.0 today and it shoots great but with the feather touch screw in im only getting 250's on the chrono(paint bore match perfect)

I take the feather touch out and she jumps up to 290-300

all settings are factory

I tried to turn the velocity up but its at its max pretty much. Any higher and it will purge out for safety.

I just like how smooth it shot with the feather touch in but thats probably because it was only hitting 256fps instead of 290's

update

feather touch back in
dwell 18ms

fps is 284-282

Ill leave here till marker breaks in. But its ALOT smoother with FT in and dwell at 18ms compared to out and set at 12ms

Just curious, what dwell were you originally using with the feathertouch in?

If you turn the manifold screw in too far it will prevent you from being able to go over 260 FPS without over-pressurizing also.

I run all of my luxes at a dwell of 16 with ft in. Seems to shoot great. If I was u I would keep the dwell at 16-18 even after is broken in and tune the manifold screw and pressure on the reg

As Phillysteve has said about the manifold being too far in that it can decrease velocity, I agree with this. Put it in about 2 turns from flush and then tune it from there.

12 MS is very low for a 2.0 especially with the FT in - up it to about 16-18 and see how it goes. My 1.0 cannot cycle a 2.0 bolt without the dwell being in the upper teens.
