Leaving tanks around (gearbag,etc)

Hey guys, I'm not new to paintball, I'm a tourney player.. I leave my tanks 68/45 and 50/45s in my gearbag usually filled to 4k-4500psi... I also leave them on a table in my room. Is that safe to leave them filled in my gearbag or room?
I notice people draining their tanks before packing up and leaving my field. Just wondering...

Thanks

If you're going to let them sit for a long time I would drain them. That keeps the seals from deforming in the regulator.
Some people keep a few hundred psi in them like a scuba tank to inhibit any potential moisture/corrosion build up.

Really the only concern is external temps causing the pressure inside to change but I have filled my tanks before leaving for years and never had an issue.

I've never heard of people draining their tanks before. I've left my tanks for months without touching them and they were always fine.

I always refill one last time before leaving the field. But i usually use the air at home, for testing/tuning/bs-ing/etc.

If I have things I can use the air on, I will, but once I've got my tests done on markers I'll usually just put my tanks away as they are.

Never had a problem. Left a tank in my gear bag for a month and it was still fine after.
