Possible Indoor Field in Columbus, Ne
Our local event center is looking at moving into town to a bigger location. There has been some talk about putting an indoor field in. What's your thoughts? Would you come out? If so, what would you like to see? This is just talk right now, I want to see what kind of support we would get from surrounding areas. Please let me know what you think, this would be the only in Nebraska.

Indoors take a lot of time, work, and most importantly money to keep running. You have to have the customer base localized to make them work well. Lots of people always say they will go, but when it comes down to it how many players do you have to have each week paying $x to make your building payment, employee wages, insurance, etc.
If done right and the market can support it they can rock. Chicago and Boston both have phenominal indoor facilities.
If you have any questions I can answer or need an opinion feel free to message me anytime. I have been involved with several fields over the many years (indoor and outdoor) and am more than willing to provide whatever (if any) insights I can.

^Word. But if this happens, I'd come over from Lincoln to check it out at least.

I'd make that drive for a well run (read: clean) indoor.
