Longest break/quit from paintball time?
After getting into it around 03ish and playing for about 3 years. In high school with no car or money, same with my friends, I wasn't really able to paintball anymore. Its been about 5 years sense I paintballed last and a friend of mine (who we both started to paintball back in 03ish together) has gotten be back into it and man did I miss it.
How long have you guys either taken a break from it because you either couldn't afford it, just couldn't get people to go and play, etc. How long was your downtime from paintball.
Really glad Iv gotten back into it (on top of my other hobbies I do). Still a great feeling.

Hmm...it's been about two months since I've gone last...I'm slowly going insane and my guns have all been taken apart and cleaned and lubed about fifteen times.
But, I've never quit it! Still have about every piece of gear I started out with and then some!
I used to play about every two weeks, but then I moved about an hour away from the nearest field...I have my license but no car, so that's a bit of a logistical problem. Anyways...

About 5 years, getting back into it this year.
Umm, played in HS and College. Friends moved away, I had more important things to do during my last years of college. Work hard then so I could play harder now. I moved away, a lot of fields/stores near where I used to live closed. Too many d-bags, decent stuff was expensive.
Getting back into it now. Decent paint isn't $90 A CASE anymore. Mil-sim stuff is more widely avail and cheaper. Make more money now. All my other needs with $$$ are taken care of for the time being. Wanted to get back into a hobby where I could get more exercise.
Of course, I say money is no longer an issue, and then I get laid off a month ago after 5+ years with a place. LOL. Oh well.

I first started playing in 04 (I was still in HS) and played through to college till 09 when someone broke into my apartment and stole a whole bunch of S*** including my 2 WGPs. I was Reffing at a local field at the time. I guess it crushed my desire to play and discouraged me from getting a new gun. Having your apartment broken into messes with you i guess. Just about 2 months ago my friend got me back into it, along with inspirational videos by PB Fashion and the HK Army So thanks to my current better career=more money. I got the gun I've wanted since I was younger, and new to paintball... an SFT Shocker and all fresh new gear. Sure, an SFT Shocker is outdated but back in the day that was my dream gun and is decent enough to hang in speedball today So its been about 3 years in totall I've been out of the sport I once loved. So happy to be back

My first stint started in the fall of 2000, I lost interest(mostly because of the people that I played with) and didn't restart until winter 2009, now I've lost my mind for the last couple of years.
