Looking for a team on the south west side of ohio
Hi my name is Levi Booher, and I have been playing paintball for about 2 years. I normally play at i70 , but I could go to cabin creek sometimes. I have some pass things for splatter park. And I'm 14, with a DP g3 with a dye rotor and a ninja tank. I will go to a tryout if needed.

You two should find another person and come to the plex tournament jan.13th he normally seperates teams by skill level like the newer players would be bracket 5 and the people that are out there alot or he has seen place at a event would be bracket 1and most people out there are friendly and try to help out the newer players but like anywhere else you have duck around i have been playing this sport for a long time now it has hard time growing and i feel one way to help is to help out the new players and maybe they will do the same and get more kids into the sport sorry so went on little rant for a min but you guys should come and see where your skill level is and what you need to work on

Ive been thinking about it.. But that is a pretty far drive. And i have a friend that has a paintball gun and wants to play with me. But we just need another person. I would like to have an older person like 16 or something so we have a mature leader..

Team up. Hold tryouts. Build from there. Best way yo become a solid respectable team. Every team starts at. The bottom

yes paintball is a troubled industry because of people like me.... i was giving the kid a hard time because he posted his entire gear set-up and then made sure to include the second post as if it would boost his credibility even more... he took my comment and threw it back at me which is kinda funny and it would have ended there. get over it.
here i will include some helpful comments:

If you can find a field you are relatively close to talk to the owner and see if he would like help reffing games or doing grunt work. You're a bit to young to be a paid worker but doing this might get you a few kickbacks (less money) at the field. Sponsors come in time and getting a real "sponsor" requires a lot of hard work, or getting to know the right people, not really something you need to be worrying about right now. The less you spend on your gear set up the more you have to spend on paint which will be the bulk of your expense. Paintball is quite expensive to get into and its a big part of why alot of kids dont make it to the tournament scene. Also as for the everyone thinking they are better than everyone else... this is really funny but incredibly true. Go hang out at the fields find the best kid there i.e. the kid wearing the most expensive **** *joke* and watch him play, figure out what hes doing right and whats hes doing wrong. Most players are incredibly nice and if you ask them they will show you what you need to be doing, yes even me. The only way the sport gets cheaper is by you getting better.
Here are some threads to help you improve you game.
