G6r trigger won't stop bouncing, any advice?

Hey everyone,

I recently upgraded to a nice 2k12 G6r (from my lovely 2k11 G6r). It SHOOTS fantastically - smooth, efficient, quiet - but I took it out to play with twice and in the middle of a rope it takes off on its own: finger off the trigger and it keeps shooting.

I've tried it in PSP 3-shot ramp (12bps), capped, and uncapped semi. It's the stock trigger, with the spring installed as well. I've done default settings and today I tried maxing out Mech. debounce and regular debounce as well as playing with the trigger-filter setting. I even backed the activation screw so that the trigger needs to be pulled almost completely before it hits the microswitch.

I'm kind of at a loss at what to do.

Here is the rest of my information:

2k12 G6r
- Premium bolt
- LP poppit
- Ninja SLP reg
- Frenzy 5.0 (I don't think you can change that yet anyway)
- sweet-spotted via Lurker methods

Any help would be fantastic. Thanks!

Try stretching the spring out to get some more tension.

hey, i was just reading the manual for the g6r. it says that if it is bouncey, set the activation point closer to the rear of the pull. hope that helps.

You could bend the metal tab slightly on the switch to help with bounce.

All you have to do is adjust the smaller top screw on the trigger to create a longer trigger pull. Might need to adjust the bottom one to keep it from bottoming out so you can get the proper trigger pull length. This problem happens when the trigger pull is to short and the actual cycling of the gun creates enough kick to pull the trigger a second time and so on,when it does that you can just push forward on the trigger and it will stop. Really hope this helps should be a quick fix...
