GOG Extcy Trigger
I was wondering if anyone has tried the Blade trigger for the Extcy.. If you have.. Did you like it? Or am I better off going with the Violent Series trigger?
Thanks in advance!

The trigger is a nice upgrade if you play semi-auto very often. Though, it wouldn't be the first thing I'd upgrade on the marker.

Have you tried the trigger personally? and what order would you go in for the upgrades? I want this thing to have every up possible.

I have used the trigger, but I don't have it myself. The bolt, board, and barrel are usually the main things that would need upgraded. Again, I don't have the marker myself so I couldn't exactly tell you.

The board in the extcy is the blackheart so really no need to upgrade it. The first thing I would do is add the QEV. It will make the marker cycle faster and just perform better all around. The bolt would be next and there are so many to choose from you will just have to sift through the hype of each manufacturer and decide for yourself which one you want to try. But for now, I would shoot it allot and have fun. Get it good and broken in before starting the upgrade process. Because out of the box this is one of the best markers for the money. Just my 2 cents!

I have used the blade trigger and I liked it. If the blade is more your style, then go ahead and get it. It is cheap and easy to install. It really boils down to personal preference. I like blades, so I liked the blade trigger. The violent trigger is not much different than the stock trigger, at least I could not notice a 30$ difference while running around and shooting people in game. Like the above posts, you would probably be better serviced with money spent eltswhere, but then again, it is your marker and only you can decide that.

My previous marker had a more blade style trigger and I could walk it real nice, with the stock trigger I can't seem to walk it as easy so I may upgrade the trigger.. Thanks for the advice though

I am using the violent series trigger and I love it. I am able to adjust it much better than the stock. There is no side to side play since it uses bearings, and I can get it to the point where its like a mouse click when I want to. I highly recommend it.

I have used all three triggers (stock, blade and Violent). They all are nice in their own ways. The blade trigger is nice for me because I have always preferred a blade trigger. The stock trigger is what it is and it work's nicely. The Violent trigger is expensive, but I definitely think you get what you pay for. It works nice, it feels nice and solid and it performs like a champ.
I guess it really just comes down to do you prefer a blade style trigger or the "S" style like the stock and Violent.

I put the blade trigger in my extcy and I love it. I did have to swap out the trigger stop set screw it came with for the stock one (wasn't long enough - didn't want to break the internal switch).
Basically, it comes down to personal preference. I found mine for about $15, so you won't be out that much if you don't like it.
Just my 2 cents...
