Nice. I already worked on a Timmy a while ago but I hate the older designs. I might do a cool pump build...where's a good place to start? Any "beginner" cockers you would recommend starting with?

I like the post 2000's. I am building one myself right now. just search the forums for one with a body you like the design of. Most people are afraid of timing a cocker. That is not all that complicated, but is easier still if you are going to do a pump build. Once you find a cocker with a body you like, it is as simple as swapping out the pump kit for the front Pnumatics. If you start with just a body kit, it is not much more complicated. You just have to run down more parts, but like already stated, the parts are pretty plentiful.

I'm in the middle of building a from parts pump. I milled off the feedneck and rail ad then drilled and tapped it for a phantom horizontal feed. All I have left is to install the valve and do final assembly & pre first shooting.

Its not like its a foreign object, lots of resources and help. An autococker will allow you to tinker, a pump takes most of that away.

LCD angels are fun to tinker with, I just picked up an LCD w/bb eyes and a modified virtue board for pretty cheap. And all the different pl bodies is also a plus
