Since there isn't a concise thread yet on who to call and where to go, I'll post this information and will update as new info comes in. In general, military paintball fields close during winter months and reopen in late March or early April.

*Note: This is a "bring your own stuff" kind of field. No guarantees anyone will be there. THe two times I was invited to play there was on Sundays.


This is all I know of US Military based fields. I'm sure there are probably others. terrorizer666 was kind enough to included a post on LN fields in Germany in a different post. I'll quote him here just to be complete.

I played at the Okriftel/Hattersheim PaintballFabrik indoor field. It's just West of Frankfurt and the guys running the place are very friendly. Since it's indoor and relatively confined, the speed limit is 220fps or so and is monitored on the field by their numerous refs. The bottom floor is Airball while the second floor is the staging area, chrono area and small wooden bunker setup. The third floor has more wooden bunkers. (If you go by European convention, make the first floor the ground floor and work up from there.) They have compressed air and CO2 available as well as paintballs for sale. I think they want you to buy their paintballs as well but it's been a while since I last went there. These same guys run an outdoor field at Hofheim - Diedenbergen but I haven't played there yet.

Just a footnote. The MWR bosses are coming out to check out the action on the Heidelberg field next Sunday, July 3rd. Please come out and support the field if you can. Ian is working hard to make it a great place to ball and he can use your support. Field opens at 13:30.
