We should have a picture of my cock being vigorously pumped by Yngwie while he bathes in a giant tub of cocoa puffs.

I think I'll be working on my Squier build a little more soon. Been sourcing parts, it's kinda tough when everything is for Fenders and there's no guarantee anything will fit.

Hey guys. So I have a guitar from the 90's for which I am trying to find what it is worth at this point. It has maybe been played a handful of times so it's still in great condition having been in it's case most of it's life.

What I have is a Fender Stratocaster squier series model number MN415696 and a fender frontman amp.

I did a bit of research and most of the squier series I have found has Squier in a big font while mine has Fender.

Like this one

Any help is appreciated.

After poking around, I wouldn't count on getting more than $100.

Someone who knows their strats may pay 200-250 for that guitar, I reckon, if it's pristine of course. It's not a crap made in china Squier, it was pretty much the mim strat for that time period. I don't care what people say about mims but they are good guitars. I've seen beat up mim squiers of the period go for 150.

I was reading that the body and neck are Mexican Fender, but the hardware and pickups are of much lower quality. I haven't seen one in person though, nor can I find any detailed tear-down pictures to confirm anything =/

I got around to making this tonight.

Screwed up in several spots. My hand was getting tired from practicing and I was having a hard time holding down the larger chords. I need to practice more than I do haha. But overall, I like where the piece is at.

Cancelling my 3550 order, GC's trying to mess with me more, and I didn't realize Galaxy Black is super glittery. Might look for a used 3570, I'm having second thoughts about dropping $1600 on a guitar when used run ~1k

Anyone in here use a ~5w tube amp? I've always gone in the other direction, 100w head > 2x12 or 4x12, but it's too far from practical. I can't decide whether it's worth investing in a nice 5w 12", or buying a cheaper tube head and an attenuator (quite expensive). Just about everything sounds good in the store, but things change dramatically when you're alone in a quite room.

Rob Chappers says nothing but good about the Blackstar 5w head, and the Orange tiny series.

Might look into one of those.

Chappers is a whore for Orange and PRS, so I'd take anything he says with a grain of salt when it comes to his gear suggestions.

Blackstars are nice though, as are the VHT's. Epiphone Valve Jr's are great, and AC4's. My Jet City was cool too (when it worked).

Really depends on what sound you want, and what speakers/cabinets you already own. Most of those come in combos too, but their head alternatives are all pretty damn cheap. I've been looking around at some as well, though I don't know how well any would power a 4x12...
