I currently have a pair of JT Flex 8 goggles and am getting a Contour Roam for Christmas. I think the Goggle mount would work well on these. But I'm likely buying a pair of the new Eflexs after New Years (thanks rewards points!) and I'm worried if the goggle mount will fit the very thin exposure of strap near the ear on the Eflex goggles. Anyone have this set up...does it work? The other option is to order the Headband strap with goggle mount and try to wear that with the mask but I'm not sure that would work either as the strap would have to go over/under the goggles in the front. It will fit, but the mount may be too far back. So when you get it on, it may film a bit outside, instead of head on. I understand that people hard mount it to the removable Empire logo.
i think on the eflex it will be too far back using the google strap mount, i currently useyhe contour on my flex8's and my pro flex's and i find i get a lot of hopper in my shot, you might want to try a barrel mount and have it right in front of your hopper. i can send you some of my contour videos it you want to see what i mean
or you could try using one of the sticker mounts on top of the empire emblem
was hoping for better news but guess ill have to choose. i do like the proflexes so maybe those. i get nauseous watching barrel mounted cams so need to mount on mask. appreciate the info...thanks and merry christmas!
