The only pros for carb are old guys who don't understand newer technology like my dad . Also you can tune the fuel flow at the track but hell you could bring a laptop and do it with efi too

There are a lot of pros to carb set ups.. like i said they are much much simpler than efi to work with they cost a fraction of the price, when my carb car runs within .008 6 runs in a row i'm going to assume everything is pretty well tuned even with that old dinky carb.

Correct on the old guys, they understand them better. And drag only guys like em too. Efi gives better streetability and mpg but costs somewhat more, unless you pull guts out of a junkyard.. But to each his own

it's 1200 dollars for a carb that can handle a 1100-1600hp big block like we have, to get an efi system to handle that i'm looking at close to 10-15k in electronics and managment systems.
