Valken Proton Trigger Repair

Young man brought a Proton to the field with a broken trigger switch. I took on the repair.

Part: Cherry Electronics DG2. This is a typical computer mouse switch.
Mouser Electronics. Ordered Monday here on Thursday. Bought 2 with priority $12.

Removed Clapper Solenoid. Removed two screws to the solenoid board. Desoldered the 2 small wires on the corner of the board. Pull straight off. De soldered the switch and reinstalled new switch. Trimmed off excess pins. Resoldered board to solenoid wires and reinstalled board bolts.

Be sure that trigger is removed when putting frame back onto body.
