Well in all honesty, nothing has really happened. New yorkers need to vote out the mayor of their doorknob governor, and knock out the bill he just put in place.

Easier said than done. Too many liberals in New York. Too much support. Not enough people with a realistic thought process.

the liberals won't move that fast....they will list PTSD as a mental illness and bar you from buying a gun. The liberal gun grab plan will take decades.
First you need to make it harder to own a gun and prevent people from putting them in their will. This is where a horrible definition of mental illness comes into play...one that is defined by people in washington.
Second remove the joy out of shooting. Create a ton of red tape like classes, licenses, and make it harder to open a shooting range. Make the population complacent of the 2nd amendment....the less people partaking in the right to bare arms the less of a voice they will have.
Third they need to educate the younger kids to be scared of guns and hate them....negative stigma on gun ownership.
Fourth you pass a gun registration law.
and lastly you knock on doors to pick them up and send those few gun owners to reeducation fema camps

So, in all seriousness I really want an AK47, maybea 74 depending. What do you think I could get for my AR15(ADCOR Defense B.E.A.R. piston AR, $1500 retail value 18 months ago)+ 5 PMAG, + 3-500 rounds of ammo and I have an eotech red dot sight....an AK+mags+ammo and cash would be sweeet.

I'd put it on GunBroker with no reserve. However you run the risk of not being able to get an AK for several months if not forever if you're in Maryland.

AR's are rediculous right now. I could easily see that setup selling for plenty over $3k. They are just plain rediculous right now

haha, I live in VA and work in MD...perhaps I should switch my state residency to VA soon then.
Also...what does "no reserve" mean?

No reserve means there is no minimum price you'll take for the offer. If it's a popular item that sells no matter what, it's a safe way to increase likelihood of bids and rash bidding to give you more money.
look up how auctions work

I thought heavily about selling my ar, but decided I'd rather have my ar than 1200-1500$

It's not that I need or want the cash, I just really like AK's. I'm thinking that when I get home I might see what Ican on barfcom's trade section.

for all that you could get 2,500 for a fast sell...that's with the 500 rounds, sight, and mags. You're best bet is to get guys in a bidding war on gunbroker so like others have said post it there with no buyout and reserve
For a nice AK you're probably looking at 1,200-1,500 and that will probably come with a few mags. They have some nice AK74s with the slide folding skeleton stock on gunbroker. It's so sad because i remembr back when a nice side folder arsenal could be had for 800.
this one is priced too high in my opinion, 1900, but boy does it look good

I was considering a saiga ak, they are pretty cheap and shoot pretty good. Hate the trigger group location though.

If you don't think they can pass any AWB legislation, you should sell your AR now and just wait a few months to buy the AK. Basically the equivalent of buying low and selling high in the stock market.
