GI Bill question

I have 36 months obviously. If my calendar year of school is Aug 25 - Dec 12 and then Jan 12 to May 1. How many months are used for that time.

Best bet is to ask your VA counselor there at your school.

why would it be obvious you have 36 months? we don't know the first thing about your TIS…

To answer your question, the VA will certify your school program for a certain number of months chargeable for each semester then your school tells you. If you are already registered it will be in your gi bill **** on the website.
Did you do a FAFSA and contact the financial aid office? don't miss out on the free money.
