If it works, take it apart and find out why.
I do not take PMs in regards to duties as a Mod. Please post all questions about this subject to the TTMA section.
I went yesterday to buy enough ammo to fill my mags and barely got enough. 100 rounds of 5.45, 50 rounds of 9mm, and like 20 shotgun shells....that it.

I find it ironic that in the midst of "gun control" madness in Washington, nobody from the media has brought up the fact that the US government is the single largest customer for the "assault weapons" industry. I haven't looked into the numbers but I'm fairly certain that having such a large portion of weapons production supported by civilian sales creates an effective subsidy in the pricing structure for government purchases (this would include state/local law enforcement purchases as well).
I imagine that much of this is just political posturing by the administration... it's a little too convenient that they could get ahold of any issue to turn the national focus away from the funding crisis, and it looks like they chose to run with it. They have the nerve to appoint a commission to take "rapid action" on a non-issue while at the same time federal agency directors are trying to figure out how they will fund basic programs critical to national security. So now we are focusing on gun control to "make our children safer" while simultaneously pulling thousands of law enforcement off the job.
But hey, at least obama gave us monday off....
