That is one ****ty anodizing, I have ordered from ansgear plenty of times and never had any problems. This is definitely making me think twice before I order from them again, I will mostly buy from local stores now... Good luck trying to send that back to ansgear they have horrible return policies and there costumer service is ***t. Like I said before good luck!

Buying locally is the way to go but if I want to I have to make a special trip and drive 6 hours to the nearest store. Sucks but buying things in person at a store is just better. Have any problems they will be willing to help you take care of them

Ansgear is by far the worst online paintball store... Been away from the sport for a few years, but some things don't change. I stopped ordering from them a long time ago when they mailed me a fake myth reg...

i got an email from darryl over at dlx, on christmas day! Now i think that is some good customer service, i am sending in my luxe to dlx tomorrow, and will see what they will do. Ans on the other hand replied a week after a emailed them and had this to say
"Thank you for the information. All of the Luxe guns we receive we do not open and are guaranteed new and unused straight from the manufacturer. Under your warranty, DLX Luxe will assist you with any issue you have with the gun. They are more than happy to assist you in resolving this. Please give them a call and give them the information you have given us."

I actually do have the ability to do pearl. We were one of the first places to turn out a pearl looking clear. But we don't offer it because its hit and miss and I myself dont have the means to absorb a bad anno job or customer return like DLX does.

But I think the anno job you have looks cool. Anno is more like art work and you can get random faded looking lines for sure. If it was my gun I would keep it. The faded green anno in my book just add's a little extra art to the piece. But indeed peoples taste's are there own.

I don't mean to stop your hating on any gear. But my mist 2.0 has spots that I spotted very quickly but they didn't bother me. That probably is a new gun and it just didn't turn out perfectly in the anno process

I agree about the art work. Maybe the lesson to be learned is to see the actual gun before you buy it. I know online can be difficult. I know this when I bought a Disco Splash Luxe I wanted pics....and I got exactly what I saw.

It does suck getting a brand new marker that you payed well over 1000 for with anno flaws. I just purchased a new dragon splash from bob long and had it custom made and it came to me with anno defects by the milling where the splash and base anno met. it bothered me t first but the marker itself is so imaculate and clean shooting i have been able to look past it. Plus the customer service I received from Tim2thousand4(whom I ordered it through) made it a little easier to swallow. It is hard work doing multi colored splashes and getting the colors and tones to match up perfectly, I know we all come to expect it to with all the money spent but nothing and no one is perfect. I definitely bet DLX will take care of you though. they wonderful CS as well.

Go on their Facebook page and complain like the apocalypse is about to happen and give them a call back number. They called me within 5 minuets

I sort of dig the uneven colors in the green. The different color barrel parts would bother me. And the un-polished/un-anoed section in the trigger guard is semi-laughable.
