Would you pay $1600+ for THIS Garbage(PICS)

So, i just got my new luxe 2.0 that i ordered from ANSGear(Worst company ever), which i always hate doing because they always, and i mean always mess something up, they are just are just one of the only companies that keeps a large inventory. Anyways, i opened my cases to find the ****tiest anno job ever, there are areas that were not anno'd all the way, drip marks, uneven color, its just horrible, even the barrels are two different colors... I am pretty pissed of, and not sure what to do about this, I want to see who actually anno'd the marker(I though it was DLX). What would you Do?

edit:it seriously looks like a 4 year old's art project..

Exaclty why you never purchase ans gears custom anno's.

You purchase a regular color you like and ship to annodizers with a huge credibility, the one I use is fx annodizing

ANSgear has probably the worlds worst customer service available. I predict you're going to get screwed big time on this with some time of fee and other BS.

I ordered a jersey, pod pack, and lens from them on 12/7
On 12/10 I called them to ask why I haven't gotten any confirmations they said it would go out _that day_ and to not worry about it. I asked if all my items were in stock and no issues since my girlfriend made the purchase for me for an early Christmas present. They said everything is fine.

12/11 still nothing, figure I'll call them on my lunch break, they end up calling me... I'm like oh boy now what. This guy tells me that a hat that was in my order wasn't available and wasn't coming back in stock, I say ok, I am a bit confused, I was told on 12/11 that all the items were in stock and that it was shipping that day, now you're calling me 24 hours later telling me a item isn't in stock and you still didn't ship my items, this guy lets out THE LOUDEST YAWN I've ever heard in my life... I was in complete shock. Hes like uhh well it's going out today because the hat wasn't in stock. I was so disgusted I'm just like okay whatever ship it out.

12/14 comes around and I still haven't gotten anything in the mail. I talk to their online customer support and asked them WTF is going on, they explain to me that it still hasn't been shipped by would go out that night. I flip out at this point and explain to them that I want the tracking information now that it is ridiculous that I was lied to twice already and now that the third time I contact them they're trying to feed me more bullsheit. I asked why I should trust them at all. He was just like "Well all I can say is sorry, and I can't give you tracking information until it is ready to ship." I ask What time are YOU leaving today because I am going to get a hold of YOU for the tracking information before YOU leave and someone else lies to me on Monday.


ANSgear is a joke.

Once again, another prime example why you should deal with local store's instead of online superstore's. This is what's killing paintball. Hopefully ANS or DLX get you straightened out.

Wow. The barrel front/back portion is particularly atrocious. I hope you are able to get a full refund. Best of luck.

Also - phillysteve, that is a horrible customer service story. I have been contemplating a few purchases from Ansgear but now have second thoughts. What a nightmare.

I have never seen a DLX Factory anno job done that poorly. I suspect it's something ans had done on the side.

Maybe try contacting DLX and see if they'll leverage anything.

I haven't had any problems with anusgear's stuff and haven't had to ship anything back to them yet. They are a big company and would expect they would take care of you.

They are going to screw you with their return policy

-Any item taken in for return must be brand new, factory sealed and unused.
-receiving a refund back to your credit card or paypal account with a 15% restocking fee
-If an order has received free shipping, the shipping costs will be deducted before the store credit or refund is issued.

I demanded a refund from them one time because it was a week after I placed my order and they still didn't ship it out (this is the time before the last time they did it) because of me demanding a refund and refusing to allow them more time to ship it out they blocked my IP address from their website lol.

I get a connection refused message anytime I try to connect to their website from home without a proxy lol.

Same thing happened to me.....i purchased a full dust brown 2.0 from ans gear and received it, opened the case and my barrel front was a distinct darker shade of brown then the barrel back....i was not happy.....i got it hydrop dipped so it dosent matter now but i will always remember

Wow. That is worse then I had thought it would be. I would also get ahold of DLX and see what they can offer, that thing makes them look not so good. Either way good luck man the situation really sucks to go through on a new full MAP marker.

This happened to several of our customers at the field, the annoes are very poorly done and are packaged without being inspected for imperfections. We also had issues with several markers that were powder coated to the point where barrels didn't fit on guns and parts leaked because tolerances were off. They will want to take the marker back and just give you a new one or the same one with a new anno, in the cases I just mentioned we were not satisfied with their solution to the issue. It makes a great case for buying local, and as a store owner I remind people that ANS is big, and they have never been a great company service wise but I get that they have a great selection, buyer beware.
