I've had my M&P 40 for almost 2 months now and still haven't shot it yet. Carry it everyday for work, though.

You need to shoot that thing. How do you expect to effectively defend yourself with it if you've never shot it? Have you at least shot other guns?

I've shot plenty. I shot my beretta a bunch when I had it. It was a 9, though. And since I started 3 years ago, I've shot my .38 S&W revolver every 6 months to keep my license up to date. When I go back in July to shoot, I will have to re-qualify with my .40.
