I have this gun on order from my local shop. They are giving me a insane deal for a PGA. But regardless I've always been a planet man. Does anyone have experience shooting a geo3 compared to the dm13. Have never owned one. I just know the dye guns people either love or hate then. I di know they feel amazing in the hands ! And does anyone if they are planning a 2014 model

-2014 model? Probably.
-They all the shoot the same, all the high end guns do when taken care of! They all shoot paint bullets at 300 FPS at high ROF.

The DM Ultralite frame does feel great in the hands. The maintenance on either gun's bolt system is not hard and takes two minutes to learn.

With the price you're getting, you are getting a fantastic gun at an even better price. Use the saved money to buy paint and go play as much as you can.

i personally would prefer the dm13 over the geo3. they are both good markers and will get the job done, but the dm markers seem so shoot better and feel better in the hands

the geo is too louder compare to a dm, and with the LPR the dm is more efficient and smoothly...
dm > geo

dye has released a yearly model since 2004. Im going to say , yes there will be a 2014 matrix.

as far as vs a geo 3, you gotta shoot them both. depending on how you run one or the other you'll get a different feel in terms of recoil. pretty sure the geo3 is lighter as well. one will not be significantly more noisy/efficient/smooth etc over the other. it will come down to user settings.

ive had both and the worst decision ive made "lately" was getting rid of my geo3 and getting a dm13. now i loved my dm7, ironmen dm9, and the barbarian dm11 that someone lent me, but it seems like dye dropped the ball on this last one. look at the 13 compared to the 12 and its almost exactly the same just smaller windows looking into the bolt sleeve. I had it for a month and thankfully was able to trade it.

I've owned DM12s and Geo3's and now a DM13, DM13 is noticeably smoother than the DM12's I had right out of the box and smoother than the Geo3 hands down! If getting a Geo, I'd only get a Geo3, way better than previous Geos! If I had to pick one to use for a season, based on shot quality and feel, I'd go DM13

You like spool valve guns eh? Honestly the 12 and 13 are going to be the same gun. I would go with the 12 mainly cause you can pick it up for less than half the cost of the 13

For the DM13, Dye made the window smaller just so they can say they did something. Dye DM 12.1 for shure!

How is the rubber on the bottom of grip compare to DM12? Mine broke within weeks last year on the DM12.

Where did it break? Odd, I've had my DM12 since early September playing every weekend (sometimes 2-3 x's week) and have had no issues with the rubber on the inline reg and UL frame.

Yes i agree that the dm13 and 12 look the same, same deal with the reflexs.

But i believe that cause of the DAM and all there time spent on that and that was there main focus for a new gun that they really didnt spend that much time on the other markers, they did what they could do, but now that the DAM is done and out being sold, the 2014 line will look amazing

They fixed this issue with the 2013 reg sleeve. If you vuy a new one as I did the opening for the 45 degree macro is elongated to prevent splitting.

I would have to agree with most of the above users. I have always been a dm fan. No matter what gun i have i always need to have one in my arsenal. Once properly tuned/broken-in, its very difficult to find a smoother or quieter marker. Plus they feel great in the hands.

As for a geo 3 vs the dm13: I have shot 4 geo 3's and i am still unimpressed by them. Idk if its because its cold here and the geo3 seems to hate the cold but with all different solenoid settings and the st bolt, i have no shot one that i could say was smooth or quiet. Im sure once its summer time a broken in and tuned geo 3 will shoot decent but you can pick up a new dm and still be impressed by how it shoots

The geo is as loud as a tippmann. I love my dm13. The colors? Yeah. They defiantly ****ed that up this year. But they shoot amazing.
