X7 Phenom not shooting

This past weekend, my Phenom quit working. It chrono'd without a problem, but as soon as the first game started, it quit working. Every time I tried to shoot it, it would just make a clicking sound. Even when I turned it to mechanical it wouldn't shoot. Does anyone know what the problem might be? Also, It has a slow air leak coming from a brass hose in the trigger frame (where the battery is). I've already sent it in to Tippmann and had the hose replaced once, but now it's leaking again. Does anyone else have problems with their's leaking?

There should be Orings on each end of the hose. Probably needs replacing.

It looks like it's leaking from where the hose is soldered. Any ideas why it wouldn't be shooting?

I'm guessing the leak is a separate issue, but the not firing may be the same problem I had. When you pulled the trigger you could hear some air, like it was trying to fire, but no bolt movement.

In the Flex-valve, there are inner and outer spring clips that hold the end part of the valve that the bolt rides on. The outer clip is visible, the inner one is not until you remove the outer one and the end of the valve. The inner clip on mine broke, and a small piece of it was loose inside, jamming up the flex valve. I removed the loose piece and it worked for a while till I guess more of the clip broke off. You can read my whole story here...http://www.x7og.net/phenom-tech-help...-know-how.html X7OG is a great site if you own a Phenom.

The outer clip was a real PITA to get off, even harder to get back on. I didn't even try the inner one. I sent it back to Tippmann. The parts I am talking about are #5 in this drawing

I had similar problem with my phenom before, but mine doesnt leak. It was the power tube. It would shoot fine on the chrono, but during games it wouldnt shoot at all. I swap the power tube in one of my teamates phenom and that solve my problem. I sent the gun to tippmann the next day they replaced my powertube for free.

Ensure that the pin that the sear comes in contact with is free moving as well as the Valve pin is seated correctly.

I'm not sure what was wrong with the gun. I took apart the trigger and didn't see anything wrong. But when I put it back together and test fired it, it shot fine and is working perfectly now

well, hard to belive but if youre still having the same problem, as i had, check the o rings at the Valve Spool Spacer (52 in manual) firing spool (50)or the oring thats inside the valve .
you have to remove the spacer washer(49) και bumper disk first and in the inside of the valve there is the number 4 oring .

when you pull apart the grip on the bolt side check the part where the trigger meets the bolt. there is a brass ring with a silver center sometimes that gets stuck and when you pull the trigger you get nothing because it is stuck. you can actually pull that pin out and check if there is any debris in there. good luck!
