Spire issue
Anyone else having the problem where your spire LEd is constantly blinking red and spinning? Rarely does it turn blue and stop spinning. Is this a problem, a programming issue? It is stock settings.

change your batteries. This happens to mine when I use low quality batteries/they are running low on charge. It is because the sensor doesent sense tension on the stack. Also turn down the tension to the lowest setting(I think its yellow and should be one blink)

I think this is a design fault. The drive pressure setting adjusts how much pressure the spire puts on the ball stack before the drive cuts out, but even on 1 of 5 it's still too much. The problem is that the paddles are too small and/or too soft, so the spire is physically unable to apply that much pressure. I believe that the paddles should be redesigned.

I have had this happen a time or two so far. But its worth a shot. I noticed that when I took mine apart to clean it I didnt get the inner tray in just right and it made my on/off button feel like it was sticking a little, and it made my spire just keep spinning eratically. Try removing your tray and reinstalling. Im not saying this is your problem but it may be. It fixed mine.

I have turned down my tension and sensitivity and mine still constantly spins and flashes red. Gets kind of annoying really.

I have mine set on 1 for both sensitivity and ball stack monitoring or whatever it's called , no problems , when I stop shooting it stops spinning , no issues on setting 1 at all

The almighty "best loader ever" Spire has an issue? Don't tell the fanboys, we'll all drown in a river of their tears.

At least it's not like the Rotor's potential to jam and the Prophecy's potential for the lid to fly open for little to no reason.

I'm confused ... the issue is that your led is flashing red ? or is it that it keeps turning popcorning your balls ? haha ... I believe that when the led is red it's wen the sensor is sensing movement/sound whatever it detects , and when it's blue it's when the drive is at rest... if it's that you don't like the red color you can turn off the led I believe that should solve it

I just got my Spire literally today, thing's beautiful, and put batteries in it, fired it up, annnddd... it started doing this :/ I can fill it with paintballs and it will cycle weirdly like this for a while (blinking all the while), establishing the ballstack I guess, then turn blue, but when it's empty or even like mostly empty it starts doing this.. I think this is a problem because it's supposed to just be a solid red LED and no drive movement when empty, right?
Like OP said, it's just a blinking red LEDand 1/4 turns of the drive (what bugsme is that a blinking red LEDis not even mentioned as begin possible in the manual...). The batteries are solid, there's no yellow LED at startup.
I have no air atm to actually shoot through my dm12 but I feel like the Spire would be feeding oh-so-slow and inconsistantly. Has anyone else who's encountered this issue resolved it???

Shoot it... It doesn't feed off ball stack tension. The faster you shoot the faster it feeds

The Spire isn't a Rotor, it doesn't go full speed until it encounters resistance.
It's activated when you shoot, it's also not supposed to stop when it's empty.

The spire is sound/shot activated and you must use good quality name brand batteries. I had the same problem as well

It's that way by design, sorry.

Vibration activated, if your marker is smoother you need to turn up the sensitivity, if it's got a rougher cycle then you turn down the sensitivity.

mine acted up today for the first time. I was using a different paint than before. It wont sense the ball stack and keeps pulsing like there is no stack present (Stock settings). It seems like the paint size might have been the issue but not sure. When mine keeps pulsing the paddle is just going under the ball. I am running Procells in mine. A few times it would go blue and stop spinning but not many times today. Never a feeding or keeping up issue though.
does anyones paddles have little strings of rubber on the tips like it been rubbing something?

Either try new good quality batteries or lower the drive force setting (yellow) down to 1. Please give us a call at 631-617-5346 if you still have issues.
