I good eyes but still chopping. And every few balls I lose about 100 fps. Goes from 280 down to 180-150 FPS. HELLLLP!

check your eye pipe make sure its installed correct and theres no damage/ check your barrel bore if both are good then break it down and relube it, check your dwell also

The pipe is busted. How do I check the dwell and what is it? I'm just getting back in the sport and my brother bought me this DM9 and I'm lost with it. All the help is much appreciated. And also how do I set the FPS? If that's what it's still called. Lol

hahaha its all good bro , but STOP what your doing and read the manual this is going to be your best friend ~

also if your eye pipe is busted you need to buy a new before you play again this is most likely why your breaking paint.

Make sure you have an oring on your barrel, and DO NOT over tighten the barrel. This will cause pre mature stress and cracking on your eye pipe. I would do alot of reading on the DM9 before you do much else.

There is alot of reasons behind chopping paint

A; Bad old paint
B; Reg needs to be rebuilt
C; LPR needs to be rebuilt
D; Your LPR is too low or too high
E; You need a new eye pipe/detents
F; Your barrel could have a BUR in it causing it to break open the paint.
G; Your barrel is too small of a bore

now there is a huge difference in CHOPPING and breaking paint

CHOPPING is when it's breaking in the breach of the gun from the bolt

BREAKING is just barrel breaks...
