Does anyone know a knowledgeable person in the DFW area that could help me diagnose a problem with an Ion? I don't have much experience with these and wanted to speed up the learning curve by relying on the knowledge of another person.

The Marker powers on but only blinks a few times, then shuts down. Only intermittent function of the bolt. I am thinking I bought someone else's headache and I'd like to get past the problem.

Preferred area would be east in the Mesquite/Garland area or Plano/Richardson areas. I can travel to other locations if needed, its just not as convenient.

Any paintball shop should be able to help you out. Most are knowledgeable and friendly if you're willing to learn.

I wasn't sure if any of the shops would actually be willing to discuss or show how repairs were done. I can see where a shop owner might think it jeopardized some of their future repair opportunities. I am not familiar with this industry and the mindset of the typical shop owner.

I usually take care of my own service needs for my cars and home as well as my other interests. I fully intend to eventually learn enough to maintain and service my own equipment.

I will spend some time with Google and see who I can find.
