Can anyone ID this marker
http://sphotos-h.ak.fbcdn.net/hphoto...0f6d5a167e35c6
A friend of mine just shipped this to me. I don't have my hands on it yet but I know its missing at least a barrel. Feeder says HALO, and the frame says Merlin. That's all I can make out in the pic I have. I know nothing about speedball markers...I run scenario markers lol. Could this be something worth fixing up? Or is it a Wal-Mart marker???

ITs a sweet marker...but if you know nothing about speedball markers or for that matter cockers, then that gun is not one you want to be messing with

Yea...i'm not tech-savvy with speedball markers lol. I'm hoping to be able to throw a Stiffi on it and ball away lol....but i'm sure its not gonna be that easy to use or get running right. Once it arrives here i'll have a better idea of what i'm up against. Does it look like its all there (minus barrel) in the pic to you guys??? I couldn't tell. I got a few speedball friends at my local field that might be able to help me out. That marker might be older than they are though lol.

The problem with a merlin (cocker) is finding someone who knows how to time it, especially with that frame on it...you wont se many of those frames around at all...

That is a Merlin Body Lite P-Block with a Hard to find Centerflag Electro Frame. Those are not seen everyday. Timing it with that Frame should be easy if the LCD screen still works.
BTW this is prior to the Feather Lites which used standard Detents

OK....update. Found a nasty airleak. Ordered new micro-line and two new fittings. Halo hopper turns on, but doesn't feed. Blinking red/green light at power button. Whatever that means lol. SO far....i'm in it $25. When the air leak is fixed, im gonna time it and test fire. If it runs good, i'll buy a 14" Freak Kit and a Rotor I suppose. More to come later.....

green red light means a jam, or dead batteries.

ANOTHER UPDATE:
After letting my buddy who's all about Auto-cockers take a look at it an see if he could get it running.....its still DOA. Fixed the airleak at the micro-line....but now its leaking out of the 3 way. The bolt doesn't re-cock after the first shot and stays to the rear. He said I need a professional tech to fix it lol. I'm sure he's right...but not sure what to do with it at this point. I did notice the other day that on the underside of the frame in front of the trigger guard its engraved with a serial# starting with AKA. Never noticed it before. And the E-Grip is fully functional Is it worth more as a working marker vs malfunctioning marker. Everyone who's seen it just wants it for the frame so far.....and I havnt even put it up for sale (because I don't know what the thing is worth....and I really wanted to shoot it first lol)
That's it for now folks.....i'll let you know if this goes anywhere lol

I have spent many hours timing Autocockers, I love working on them. I would recommend learning how to do this yourself (find someone who knows and get them to teach you). With a little tweaking and a lot of patience you will end up with something beautiful.
There is nothing like the sound and feel of an Autococker.

I agree with Tracker. Probably wouldn't hurt to replace the o-rings on the 3-way as well.
Fix the pictures.
