For that price you can get 2 ultra lite backs and a front. Or a freak kit with most the inserts.

Just pick up a UL, or a Freak. Honestly, unless the barrel is dirty or the internals of the barrel are damaged, most barrels end up shooting the same.

Freak Kits end up being the best bang for your buck.

It really depends on what your looking for. i never found the UL's to be superior to say, the proto 2 piece, as they are made by the same company (used 20-30. I have found the Redz pepperstick to be very quiet on a rail, especially with the techt bolt they can be found for under 30 for a 14' and around $60 for the kit (4 backs 2 fronts). The critical 100g makes for a great barrel, light and accurate, although a little more pricey. a freak kit or deadlywinds freak kit will run on the upper side of your price point. there are also hundreds of old school barrels that people consider superior to today's barrels, mostly based on old barrel tests and such, but i have yet to see a Full Modern test that includes ALL the barrel options. I have a Huge collection of barrels, maybe someday ill find them all and find a scientific way to run a test.

As far as barrels for the rail are concerned, the answer is simple: any Proto barrel that is an upgrade from the stock version. I got a 14" barrel from Proto that did the trick.

Just get a used freak kit. Once you price out UL's and either get different sized backs or bore out the back you are better off just geting a used freak for ~90.
