Chris, what did you mount your camera to? I tried that once with a super clamp on my right side door pull but didn't like the result. Might try again once I get an ultrawide for my D700.

I didn't mount it.. I usually just use painters tape, but I guess my gti's passenger seat has a headrest that doesn't come off. So I jammed my camera inbetween the head rest and the seat. That's why the composition sucks, I was pretty much stuck with that. All of the shots I've done like this are always withy camera taped down to a seat or dash board. I don't have a special car mount or anything.

Negative... got word yesterday that its not totaled... my insurance just likes to make people run around and worry for a week, just to take my car back to where it was the first time they towed it.
I had to drive to, pretty much Mexico, to get my stuff from my car because they were saying it was totaled. The next day, I get word that my car is going back to the body shop to get fixed. Yeah, its cool, not like I had anything better to do with those 3 hours and 60 bucks in gas...

Its pretty slow in the winter... and has some snow right now... so there isn't much for cars and bikes on the mountain.

Well it looks like there will be some fairly big changes in my life over the next little while!
I accepted an offer to move to Iqaluit as an account manager with RBC. I have a two year contract up there that will grant me access to be placed where I want to afterward (which could be my break into the states).
Included in the offer is obviously my pay raise, isolation bonuses as well as living expenses for the two years. On top of that, I get 2 free return trips each year for my vacation times (again, that's my free flights to at least two events this year  ).

Did this as an experiment and project for a friend. Interesting to see how the player has changed, in addition to my own photography (though, this is just a small reflection) over a few years.
