Please help before I make the wrong discussion to trade or keep.what gun is better to have! I play every weekend so what will be better for all the play I will put it through!

Geo3 is more efficient.

Luxe holds its value.
Depends which luxe... A 2.0 is worth more then a geo3

Maintenance luxe requires a bit more then a geo3...

I would say keep the geo. I traded my geo 2.1 for a luxe. I just got rid of that luxe for another 2.1. It shot nice but it just wasn't my thing. There is no real difference between the luxe 1 and 2 other then the bolt, board, eyes. IMO I would keep the geo. hope that helps.

i prefer the geo, I have had every geo and every luxe they have put out and the geo is easier to maintain and it has better ergonomics in my opinion. They are both great but the luxe can be picky about when it wants to woerk and when it does not.

PE>Luxe in every way. DLX makes a fine marker, just not as good as the Geo3

Shoot and decide for yourself. Both are excellent markers, and you can't go wrong with either, just get your mitts on both and decide which one is your bag.

I've always been a fan of Planet Eclipse. They make very reliable markers and will never let you down. I've got a Geo3 and absolutely love it. The efficiency has definitely gone up since the Geo2 and I believe it is more efficient the Luxe. The Geo3 is very easy to maintain, and if you do have an issue, you have a spectacular manual like w/ all Eclipse markers. PE also has amazing customer service to help fix any other problems or answer any questions. The Luxe will hold its value more, but the Geo3 won't loose much of its value for a while since it is still a relatively new release. IMO, keep the Geo3!! You will not be disappointed.

My vote is for the luxe. You posted this in the geo thread, so u will probably get some bias towards PE. First off, I think the geo3 is an awesome marker! I have owned a few of them and shot one from before MAO last year thru cup. They shoot great and never once let me down. However, I keep going back to the luxe. The luxe feels so nice in your hands and I like the way the luxes shoot compared to the geo. effeciency is about the same with either gun. I think maintenance is about the same. I have found my 2.0 luxes to be very good with upkeep, same as the geo, just a few more orings to worry about. I think the spacing and shot of the luxe is what keeps me coming back. I have owned multiple versions of every gun made with the exception of the vapor(too many bad stories and pricey) and the luxe is what I choose to shoot day in and day out

Should've post in the VS. section to filter out some of the bias.
Luxe will hold it's value better in the long run, but they're worth near the same right now. As soon as PE releases something new, the resale value of the Geo will plummet like usual.
Maintenance frequency should be the same. Luxe has a few more orings
Efficiency will go to the Geo
Luxe is a little bit more customizable in the shot. They had an adjustable solenoid 3-4 years ago and take it a step further with the FT
The Geo may be a little more reliable depending on your maintenance habits.
It's all personal preference. I would recommend finding one and shooting it before you made a decision. I prefer my GT to either bc it out performs both, and feels good to ME. But what works for the majority may not work for you at all

Geo 3 for me.
I REALLY like the luxe though. A guy at my local field has been shooting one since they came out...he owns a 1.0 and 2.0. What I like about the luxe:
1) they're light! This is a small and compact gun.
2) they feel amazing in hand. They just have great ergonomics.
3) they're so damn smooth and quiet!
4) look. They just look amazing!
5) customer service. I've heard some really great things about dlx.
There are some neat features about the luxe as well...the audio feedback board is a cool touch, the bolt system is solid (I really like the stung 2.0 system)...I'm also a fan of the detent system and the 15 degree offset...very cool idea! However personally I can't shake the idea of it being a $1600 shocker...and from maintenance videos it looks to a bit complicated (not bad though...the reg is kind of strange, especially if you've seen clone gt or victory reg maintenance). These are very minor nuances...personal nuances mind you (for the luxe fans ready to make their point)...
Now for me, this is why I choose the geo 3 over the luxe:
1) look and feel
2) also extremely light
3) very easy and straight forward maintenance (I really enjoy planet designs above anything else I've shot...minus the cyborg rx...every company needs to take note of that gun...so damn nice!)
4) very quiet and soft (not as soft as a luxe or as quiet, but pretty damn close)
5) Features...I'm a HUGE tech nerd, and this thing is packed with things I think are cool: deftek feed neck, soft tipped cure spool bolt, sl3 reg, pops asa, adjustable solenoid, excellent propriotery LCD board, excellent trigger adjustment options, nice frame/grip design, ergonomic grip strip on the back of the frame, 45 macro fitting on sl3...I think those are the ones that stick out the most.
I know it's really personal choice and nitpicking at this point, but planet guns ave always been good to me and my friends...always there when the other guns have issues...always reliable through it all.
Either way you can't go wrong, I just really wanted to get my opinion out there as well as my vote for best spooler...if you go with a geo 3 though, I'm sure you won't be disappointed in the least!

Luxe is an incredible marker. Soft shot, feel is good, comes with freak barrel, etc all for a bigger $ tag. Will and does hold value better than Geo3. Like^ I hate the idea of paying$$$$ for a shocker. Prejudice for sure, but that's me.

PE is similar in almost all respects. IMO though PE markers are workhorses, bullet proof. My Geo is new, but I expect I will still have when it's old!

I've owned to geo 3s and a luxe 2.0. The luxe shot really smooth but once i shot the geo I fell in love with it. Just feels great in the hands and I hardly clean the thing and it hasnt failed my yet. Put about 50,000 shots through both of them and havent cleaned it more then 3 times!

Geo3 may not be as smooth as a Luxe 2.0 but man, the feel of the Geo3 is great especially when it is broken in. I have notice some of my friends Luxe are a little more picky when it comes to maintenance and climate (doesn't matter if you clean it after every day of use). I have seen Geo's with paint all over the bolt and still usable (not advised though). Like previous user said, PE markers are straight up work horses.

Luxe's require much more maintenance if they go down. Of course it's not impossible to fix, but it's much more difficult then the Geo3.

I also hated doing oring fitment for it to shoot. That was one of the things that drove me away. PE you can throw the right size oring on and it will be fine.
