Thermal lens, camo, decent looks, and what looks like pretty good airflow, and probably around the $30 range; looks like a good starter mask for woodsballers.

Would of been cool to see Tippmann put their foot in the water towards speedball a little bit, like they did with the Crossover, but I can keep wishing.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the reason the old Tippmann Squadbuster grenades sucked so much, because the BB's in the tubing would tend to get crusted up paint stuck around them so they wouldn't want to come out? That's why they got the reputation that the only time a Squadbuster worked was once someone threw it back at you, since the first impact helped to loosen the BB a little.
While I find paintball grenades in general tend to be a waste of money, since players rarely call themselves out when hit by them because they can't feel any impact, the old school Big Boys as built by Atomic were reliable as hell, and as long as they didn't fall into a big pile of leaves or something really soft, they'd always go off, just didn't guarantee they'd hit anything. Don't know why they'd go back to a BB trigger.

That was the main reason they sucked. You had to fiddle with them to make the BBs loose for when you threw it, without making them so loose it went off in hand or in flight.
I'm sure these will fail just as badly as the previous ones. But who knows, maybe they figured out something.
I don't buy/use paint grenades. I'd rather put that money into paint.
Now... if fields started allowing launched grenades for indirect fire in a scenario game, it'd be another story. But all my local fields say nerfs only for launchers. I understand some of the potential liability, but I don't see how that nerf is much better than a light paint grenade like the old Specter system

They should just sell a kit, paint in a bucket, a funnel, and a pack of water balloons. Fields could charge like a buck or 50 cents per "grenade" brought on field or something if the kit wasn't bought in the store.

Same internals and everything, but it now has a mounting rale for a fore grip and a detachable carry-handle on the top. This solves some problems

I was hoping to see something completely new from the army line, maybe next year?
