Really old untouched Eclipse - now splashed, assembled and jeweled
This is pretty tame compared to what most of you do, but I like building up older autocockers. However, instead of milling, drilling and half-blocking, I tend to be a restoration kind of guy.
This beauty has been sitting for about a decade. It looks like it was never anodized or built up but someone glued the jewels in place.
I thought it is high time to make it into the gun it was always meant to be. Plus, it would make a great gun to play in the UWL, especially with an Eclipse team. Here's how it started.
Update. New pic of more parts I have collected.
Update. First pic of the anodized parts.
Update: More of the parts all together.
Here it is assembled as a pump. I don't have jewels, reg guts, bottomline internals or pneumatics yet to make it into a full autococker.
First action pic of the Eclipse Cocker as a pump.
Boom. Almost done as a pump. Look out UWL! The next step will be finding pneumatics and getting it going as an Autococker.
Check out those jewels. Preeeeeety. I ever got that hard to find special edition SL cocker detent jewel.

Nice. I have something that looks quite similar (only I used nothing but PE and CCM parts)

Awesome. Is yours a cocker or a pump now? Better yet, have a pic?

Looks like a great project, can't wait to see it complete. Using all PE parts would be awesome, some CMM would be acceptable as well.

It's harder than I thought to find Eclipse parts. I am still scouring BST for a bolt, black Eclipse 3-way and black Eclipse LPR.
The only CCM parts it will have will probably be the pump kit for when it is used as a pump.

Sonny Lopez already has an Auroa pump with an Eclipse body. I want something different. Plus, when I told the guys at Eclipse I was considering doing it in Auroa, they were afraid it might damage the body (which just isn't replaceable anymore).
Also, Auroa guns either get put on the wall as decoration or show wear if they get used regularly. I wanted something that would hold up to some real use.

What do you think he'll use to hold the jewels on?

I know my local shop has a ton of old cocker parts and my good friend has a good collection. I'll do a little digging for you for the eclipse parts.
edit: I'm headed to the local shop later and will check but i'm pretty sure he still has new cocker parts in the display case so I'll see what he has that's eclipse.

Yeah, I don't own guns I don't use. It kind of defeats the point.

Thanks. I found an Eclipse valv and Rex kit at EZ Paintball in Memphis. I forgot to look for a bolt though.

If your not already check out customcockers. You can find eclipse parts all over the BST there.

last time i went to EZ there prices seemed kinda high. they did seem to have a few good parts laying around though. but it has been a couple years.
edit: also have you considered the ego feedneck mod? that whay you can satisfy this section by cutting something and still keep it all eclipse.

Haha, nope. I'm not cutting this one up. I did that for my Ripper though. I always found the prices at EZ pretty reasonable to be honest.

Very nice! I am hoping for something as sweet when I am done. Is it drilled?
I scored a Belsales slider frame (which used to come on some Eclipse cockers). I won't be able to rock the auto-trigger, but I will be able to shoot it as a cocker or a pump. I also have an Eclipse reg and an old Eclipse bottomline.
