Good back up gun for a sl94
I recently got a sl94 as my main gun. I sold my first one to get the sl. I was wondering what would be a good back up for it. I would have around 250-300 maybe 350. I was thinking eteks axes ethas. I would like to know what you think is a good back up gun for the sl. I do not have any money so please do not offer up

Honestly, it is what you are comfortable with. An ETEK or older EGO would have a very similar feel, as they have the same geometry, and are stacked tube poppets. An Etha will have similar, or the same geometry, but is going to be a spool valve, so a different shot feel. An Axe or a Mini will have different geometry, and a different shot feel. So a back up that is very close in feel and shot feel to your SL94 is going to give you the easiest transition if the SL94 does go down.

Are you wanting something close to the SL? Or just another marker you could use as a backup or in other scenarios?
I use two very different types and would say neither is a backup, I use both in speedball and non-speedball events.
One is a Geo 2.1 and the other is a Plamer's Blazer, completely different animals.
You could easily go to a online retailer or a local shop and ask to see what they have under 300 bucks and pick from there. That would be ten times more beneficial for you, specifically going to a retailer. In the absence of a good retailer an online dealer makes it easy to sort through, such as compulsivepaintball.com etc.
Not to knock your inquiry but there are a cubic crap ton of threads in the forums regarding best gun under xxx or best marker for xxx under xxx that would probably give you a greater insight into the history of the company the evolution of a markers series, and knowing is half the battle. Search.

Look at your comment. Back to mine. Back to yours NOW BACK TO MINE. Sadly, it isn't mine. But if you stopped trolling and started posting legitimate crap it could LOOK like mine. Look down, back up, where are you? You're scrolling through the comments, finding the ones that your comment could look like. Back at mine, what is it? It's a highly effective counter-troll. Look again, MY COMMENT IS NOW DIAMONDS.

If you want something in that range, the closest your gonna get is an ego 9 or etek3/4. Its gonna be tough to get an 09 ego in that range but you might be able to find one but an etek would be easier to get your hands on in that range.

I like the Reflex Rail. They shoot nice and are basically a cheaper Dye (since Dye owns Proto)
