Just got my new vice in and the dude said he put a pen spring in the trigger to help the debounce... I pulled it out and I don't even see a spot where the spring should be. I also can't seem to find a scythe style trigger for it.

Try hitting up Incubus and see if he has more Gen5 triggers.

I believe they do. My memory is suspect tonight after another 14 hour day.

Yes and no.
There the same design and pattern, but the top off the trigger that curves is not as long on the marqs. So they basically have no pretravel stop but it will still work for the most part.

Sweet... I thought I read somewhere that you'd said that you can use a gen6 trigger in a gen5, but not vice versa.

You should see an area on the back where there's usually a groove cut in. If not, it should be pretty easy to see where it fits once you open the gripframe.

I read somewhere that there is a piece that screwed in above the microswitch, but I see nothing of the sort. The back of the trigger has a flat spot, but it is pretty big. I guess I'm just going to order a g6r trigger for it.

The G6R springs have a larger diameter than the Gen3 or 4's. I believe the Vice springs are about that big too. They're not as stiff as the older springs too. I usually take mine out and run off the switch so I'm not much help in terms of placement.

I got behind the other team and did some work with my pump then raised the flag for the win.

Everybody knows me for the cat hat now. So it's really my thing. A little kid meowed at me when I was walking into staging, funny.
