Hey everyone!

So, I've missed dye for so long and an NT11 came across my path for the perfect price and I just had to snatch it up. The last dye marker I owned was a DMC, and of course the NT11 is a completely different beast so I need some help.

While the gun is still in the mail what should I consider buying?

Specific lube?
Specific replacement parts?
Specific aftermarket parts?

The marker should come with a small parts kit with OEM orings
No aftermarket parts are really needed.

It for one reason or another isn't coming with a kit, so I think I gotta get one(forgot about that).

Yeah last night I was checking out the bwing bolts, and ran into that thread. I actually already pm'd him and he got back to me bright and early.

But here's where I need some help, at the top of the forum I read about the updated parts. However I never saw what they were made to fix. The question is

A. Will my nt11 be better off with or without them
B. If better off with-can I call dye, give them the gun's serial and they ship it out?

This is assuming the gun doesn't have the updated parts.

Edit: oh damn they just updated the thread today, I can call & give the serial.

Updated parts are for the NT10. They had a few issues when first released and the issues were resolved with the updated parts. The NT11 came with those updates plus the color orings. You should probably pick up a medium parts kit. just clean and relube after every use and you should be good to go.

try using some special lube i like to call the Strictly Paintball Gun lube( facebook.com/strictlypaintball). you will see a reduction in kick, increase in efficiency by at least 1 pod, and more consistency in velocity fluctuation ( we tested dye matric and NT markers to be around +-2 fps change per shot and in ropes). also helps with any bolt friction. put enough on that it looks lubed but not too much that it looks like a mess. a little goes a long way with this stuff. Also, make sure you arent pushing lube into any of the air holes on the bolt assembly.
