I got a offer for a shego frame as a trade so I figured why not start a project. I started looking through my parts and realized I had some good parts. This thread will cover my project.
I have a couple questions: what board and mood are good for a ego frame? Does the sft body have to be modded in any way to fit frame( the frame screws are already drilled).
Parts I'm starting with.
If you have any tips of any other parts I need please leave a post below

SFT Shegos have to be milled for break beam eyes, unless you plan to have a blind gun. NXT's are already break beam. If you are using a Shocker solenoid you will need to remove some material from inside the frame and off of the trigger, if it hasn't been done already.
Any Ego board that will fit your frame will do, just make sure it has a window cut out if you grab an OLED board (most ego boards) as Etek frames don't have the window cut on the back. Virtue has cheap etek boards on amazon last I checked.
There is a Shego how-to somewhere on Voided Warranty or the Shocker forum.

Correct, NXT's came stock with break beam eyes, and won't require body milling to make them work. They have their own feedneck threads, and also use Smart Parts (Impulse/Ion/Luxe/etc.) barrel threads, not Shocker threads like the SFT.

i would try to find a shocker with a hybrid bolt guide...those always look sexy on shegos :-)
