Alias High LPR on gas up and Drop after first shot. Help
I just picked up an alias and i took it apart and cleaned/lubed everything (dow55). I went to chrono it for the first time and it would no shoot consistently. Also the lpr will be at like 130 when i first air the gun up then it will drop to 85. Then when i rapid fire, the gun will have so much shoot down it wont even cycle. When i do try to shoot it over a chrono it will be like 70/80 fps. Then if i mess with my hpr it will be like 300 then the next few shots will drop down to 100 or less. There is no consistency to the shots at all. It sounds like its shooting fine but there is little to no velocity. The board is a frenzy 127.4 and I have it set to all stock settings and the battery is a fresh Duracell. The gun also has no leaks and cycles fine.
Suggestions?

Yeah I think the alias did away with the square lpr oring and it is actually the big round one iirc. Try that but if that doesn't work. It's your noid. I pulled my hair out for months over an old alias of mine with the same exact symptoms. Once you've meticulously changed orings to the same results replace that noid

The solenoid has nothing to due with your Lpr pressure..
Replace the base/square oring on the Lpr. Also replace the oring on the Lpr piston.

in the manual on page 13 -- http://manuals.boblongdirect.com/Gen...)%20Manual.pdf
It should be on the part labeled #10. The oring table on page 18 says the base oring is a 015.

how can that oring cause this issue? it looks like its just there to prevent the lpr from leaking between the lpr and the body.
also when i shoot the gun to the point where there is massive shoot down when i stop i will here like a slow sucking sound when the gun builds pressure back up. ive never seen anything like it. ive tried 2 asa's and tanks. only thing i havnt tried is another hpr.
any suggestions on how to get the lpr off of the body to replace that base oring without using a wrench and messing up the anno?

The base oring stops air from the hpr from getting into the Lpr channel. Which would cause spikes or the lpr to get by passed.
Use a towel or rubber pad between a wrench and the Lpr housing.

Really need a big *** sign at the top of the forum that says HEY IF YOUR LPR IS OVER PRESSURIZING REPLACE BASE/SQUARE LPR ORING.....a quick google search is really all the op needed to do.

I replaced both outer lpr orings with no luck. When i gas the gun up the lpr goes to 130. After 1 shot it drops to 80 and does not creep when sitting. Then when i rapid fire it the lpr will drop to nothing and I hear a loud sucking sound as it re-pressurizes. Once it re-pressureizes the psi goes back to 130. Then the cycle repeats it self. Any other guesses?

Schrader valve could be bent causing the spike and pressure drop.

this is probably the issue. when i had issues with my old marq it was doing the same thing. the lpr would squeek when it recharged plus i would get insane drop off.

The brass pin #8 in the diagram. And are you sure you changed the big oring at the base of the LPR? just making sure, not the one #10 is pointing at in the diagram it is further to the right of that (in the diagram) just before the threads. that's the one that will cause this kind of problem also

Yes mine was huge and flat, looked weird. I didnt have a flat one in the rebuild kit, it was a fat round one. Looked thinker than the one i removed. Also gave it a coat of dow 55 to make sure it got a good seal. Ill take apart the valve and see if the pin is bent.

also if you have a full rebuild kit for your lpr try replacing all orings if #8 isnt the issue, typically every year ill take apart my regs/lpr and clean them with warm water, dry them off and replace all orings
