Help identifying this mystery marker
LINK: http://imgur.com/a/HcGHz
I used to work at a paintball field in Buffalo and repair guns. This gun was left for repairs and never picked up. It has an aftermarket trigger/grip that I am also trying to identify. Im assuming its not stock because it has hand tapped holes on the bottom for the tank/regulator assembly.
The gun is set up for compressed air I assume, judging from the regulator pressure. The barrel is a PMI Razor I think, ceramic type. The trigger has an LCD with a terrible viewing angle and its got a multitude of settings: semi, auto, nitro, timer and counter each having settings as well.
Everything I know about paintball guns is self taught so some of the above might be completely wrong

We still have paintball fields in Buffalo? where?
and in response:
It appears to be a spyder clone, similar to the PMI Pirahna markers that were very prevelant in the early '00s.
The front grip is an Expansion chamber, for CO2, and the ASA actually contains the regulator, and appears to possibly be off a older spyder marker
alltogether, it's prolly worth about $50, at most.

The field used to be in the Blackrock area on Hertel, same place as an indoor skatepark. Xtreme Wheelz or something similar. Might even still be there, no idea.
I figured it might be a clone because it has no serial/model anywhere at all. No markings or writing of any kind. Cant remember if the exp chamber is from my parts bin or that was the one on there. Am I correct in assuming the reg is set up for compressed? or does Co2 have that high a psi? Ive had a Co2 tank hooked up and it wont even push the ball out the end of the barrel.
Trying to get a list of details before I sell or give it away.

ok, I used to work at the Brass plant around the corner from there. pretty sure they shutdown the paintball portion about 4 years ago
it should work with either CO2 or HPA, as the regulator backs the pressure down from what comes out of the tank (ie: HPA tank is pushing 600psi, reg is set to back it down to 225psi, while C02 tank is pushin 400psi, the reg should still only allow 225PSI through) and those Spyder ASA regs were designed to use either HPA or CO2

That's a negative. Barrel may be from one, but the body is way different. The GSX didn't have a front block.
I'm disregarding the barrel and expansion chamber. Those appear to be add-ons. The feedneck and type of flush cocking point to one of the many import clones that flooded the market a while back. They were sold under a couple different names. Heck, if you called them up and made a big enough order they'ed name it whatever you wanted.
A lot were sold under the name Dragun. The Dragun Bonez LCD seems to have all the same key parts, but the body milling is different.

Yeah, that does look a lot like a Black Dragun. Like, really a lot. As I recall you could interchange parts with Spyders with fairly little modification. That X-Chamber and volumizer look like something off of a Spyder Sonix Pro or something similar, but the body really looks to me like a '03-'06 Dragun body. No idea what the exact model is, other than the series.
Good luck!

The gun is most likely an M3 Black Dragun Sniper, though as Fubarius pointed out Marcasite often made the same markers for several different companies with minor color and parts set differences. If it is a Dragun Sniper it's missing the M3 jewels. I'm not aware of any other Dragun-series guns being sold with this exact milling scheme, but because Taiwan was putting out dozens, if not hundreds of different variations on the Spyder theme it's hard to keep track of them all.
As has been said, expansion chamber and PMI Razor barrel were aftermarket.
Unsurprising that the grip frame was re-tapped for bottomline holes.
Draguns at this time were still using the staggered diagonal pattern that Spyder used, though the Draguns with plastic grip frames used a unique extra-long inline pattern. It could have been that the previous owner at one time wished to mount a different dropforward/bottomline configuration on it and tapped the frame to use the common 3/4" AGD/WGP pattern. I did something similar to an E-Rex once.

Welllllll... It's a paintball marker, so it has that in common with a shocker.

That is definitely a dragun trigger frame and board, I'm led to believe that means it's a Dragun something or other. I think you got a better answer than mine though, on MCB

From what?
The body, sight rail, frame, LPC, drop, reg, bolt, and velocity adjuster are all matches for an M3 Black Dragun Sniper. It just looks as though the jewel fell or was pulled off, which seems to have happened to most of the Dragun Snipers I can find with GIS.

It's definitely one of the m3 black dragun snipers.. M3 made a bunch of spyder clones, the patriot series, and dragun series, then paintball inc. had the name dragun going for a while and made a few similar notably the pi-e1 and pi-e2 black draguns.
