Anyone using the quick snap grip screws on their luxe??
If you arent sure what im talking about, you can get them here
http://www.punisherspb.com/smart-par...rip-screw.aspx
I was wondering if they work well? Do the grips end up having a looser feel with these screws or is it still a nice tight fight like it would be with the regular grip screws?

I have them on my luxe. It pretty much destroyed the grip on one side but if you don't mind purchasing a new grip when it gets too worn down its really convenient to have.
Also the grip screws I found do not really have good "allen key hole" tolerance. Even when using the correct size allen key it gives away and quickly it becomes hard to really tighten the screws all the way.
If you like a tight grip stay away from them.

thanks, looks like i will not be purchasing these.
The luxe "3.0" should do something nice with the grips, kind of like what dye does. The luxe "3.0" should also have an oled board ha... it would then be the best gun by far.

Unlike Dye - DLX hasn't seen a need to release a new marker every year with minor changes if any at all. This is another reason why Dye markers have terrible resale value and Luxes hold their values better than most markers.
You can purchase an OLED board for your luxe - they have been around for a long time.

I agree, im just saying whenever the next release is, those would be some nice additions.
I might grab the virtue oled board for mine sometime in the future.

I have the snap screws and I love them. It's all preference though... They do wear out the grips over time but mine are still going strong after two hard seasons of play. I'd rather have the quick access and buy new grips every 2 or 3 years. It's an inconsequential amount of money compared to paint

Agreed with poopresearch, I use them and they are great, my old grips were years old and still held snug.
Word of the wise though, only use snap screws on the speaker side of your grips. Using them on the backside over time could cause them to loosen a bit and take the eye connector off.

As said previously, they will ruin your grips.

Thats weird. I ordered mine from punishers about a month ago and had them that week.... IMO they are really nice to have, even if they do wear out your grip faster,

I ordered mine November 11th. I contacted them yesterday about an estimated date of when I can expect them. They said they are on backorder and have no clue on when they'll have them back in stock.

A lot of websites have been having back-order issues with luxe pieces.
Doodle sold me a luxe charger this week but 3 websites I checked before them were all sold out.

You guys had great customer service over the phone. Sent me an invoice for the item within 2 minutes and accepted the payment. I'll be using you guys as often as possible now.
I just hope my charger gets here by Friday..... can't believe mine disappeared. I wanna play this weekend but of course no shops local near me have them besides one in Shamong NJ but I'm not driving an hour both ways to get a charger lol.

I got the snap screws for my 2.0 and the holes were not threaded deep enough to seat all the way down.

It really depends on how often you open / close them.

If I have a problem on the field, I will just use my back-up gun. I don't play in tourneys so snap screws are definately not useful to me.
