Alright so I've been trying to figure out what in the world is wrong with this gun...replaced poppet, orings, and serviced solenoid. I've narrowed it down to the reg.
I've got a video to show you guys to explain it better...sorry for the nauseating camera work.
If you don't want to watch the video basically have my pressure at 140 because of boss bolt. I have recommended starting settings for boss bolt. When I fire a stream of paint my pressure goes from 140 to below 100 and stays below 100 when I continue firing. It will then recharge once I stop firing. I believe this is why I am not getting FPS properly or even getting balls out of the barrel when I begin streaming.
Video:
Any suggestions? I want this gawd awful nightmare with this gun to be over. Just want it to work as awesome and consistent as everyone says.

When I am shooting a stream of paint should it always stay at 140 if that is where I set it? After I got back to school seems it drops to only 100 when I shoot a stream. I'm so confused.
It always drops quickly after each shot, the needle will move. But it should recharge to 140 before the next shot, it should not drop down to 100psi and stay there for consecutive shots.
Those gauges can't always be relied on to tell you what's happening, but if the symptoms match the gauge reading (velocity drops off at high rate of fire) then that is likely the cause.
Where do you put the lubricant in the reg? The brass part?
If you look in the back of the reg you will see two small holes where you screw in your tank that's where you drop the TWO drops of oil. Also we can send you a new relay for replacement or we can rebuilt it too, But its up to you who you want to go through.

Also thank you for this. I will keep that in mind when maintaining my reg.
And I am quite proud to be an Axe owner too. Especially with Boss and Empire working together!
KEE's customer service seems pretty awesome. When my Sniper's pump handle developed a crack that caused it to bind, they sent me a new pump handle very quickly.
