Mine have been denied lately, too. And it is driving me crazy. Submit a report here:
https://www.facebook.com/help/contac...52940643&rdrhc. Once you do that, they will normally send an apology and reinstate it. But it is starting to be a royal pain in the butt to have to do it for every single promo. Their policy is:
One or more of the ads you set up do not meet our guidelines and has been disapproved.
Please check your Ads Manager and edit any ads that have been disapproved. Your account was not charged for ads that were not approved.
Reason(s):
We do not allow ads for ammunition, firearms, Paintball guns, BB guns, or other weapons, including but not limited to: knives, daggers, swords, bows, arrows, knuckle dusters, and nunchucks.
My argument is that I am not promoting or selling "paintball guns" but an experience "playing" paintball at a safe commercial field. All of our ads/promos have been coupons for $$$ off entry, special events like an opportunity to scrimmage with Houston Heat, etc.
Lately, the ad is reinstated but five seconds later I receive another email denying the very same ad again.
Received the following after the last promotion:
Hi, We've noticed that you are currently running Facebook Ads that violate our Advertising Guidelines or Terms of Use. At this point I am ready to throw my hands up. The way they are now posting items to newsfeed .... er, rather not posting... is the reason why I have been promoting what I feel are important posts. Out of close to 1100 "likes", most posts are now only show up in less than 300 newsfeeds.
Of course, it would be much easier to be able to TALK to a real person via telephone about the problem(s) but have yet to find a contact number to do so.
