this game is really buggy for me despite it using the hl engine. I can't seem to see any paint streams coming out of my barrel or anyone elses. Anyone else have this issue and fixed it? I did fix it before but i'm not sure of how i exactly did it.
I know it is a simple console command that may have accidentally been turned off in your case. Somebody on here may know or remember. I forgot what it was. But as soon as I find the answer, i'll edit this post with it.
