Boring a 007 Barrel for Powerlyte/Empire Revolver Inserts

Is this doable?
Might have scored a new new style revolver kit and I want to keep using my stock 007 barrel (grossly wide .696). Can I bore one to accept the other?

It's going to be next to impossible. The scepter is designed so it the front half locks the insert in. Freak or any other inserts that are just a straight tube are the only real options for boring a barrel to accept.
