There's some pretty active paintball stuff going on in STL, and it's not too far from Chicago. So, you know, CPX and stuff.

Seriously, I really should. Compared to the rest of staff that flies in for it, it's hardly a trek at all for me.

Wow, that Trevor eBay thread is heated. I might just quit this schtuff. I enjoy playing and trading. But I'll be damned if there aren't some real ****ing voltures on here just taking in stock and beating people up on their prices and then turning around later and showing off their "cheap and super rare ****" who the **** are you to say its not worth it or its too expensive.....talk about double speak. Angel has and always will be an innovator of fine guns and equipment .

IIRC, in past years, it's been $80 for a case. Ultra Evil most years, last year they brought up factory fresh Marbs from KEE because the Evil wasn't surviving people's hoppers, much less being shot. VERY brittle Evil last year.

Is top of the line tournament paint the only kind you can buy there? Also can you bring your own paint? I would love to go, but it would be expensive for me just to get there having to travel from Florida and and gt a hotel room too. I would imagine you go though a ton of paint at an invent like that, so $80 a case would definitely put the trip out of my price range.

Living Legends is a field paint only event, other than First Strike ammo. The paint they have is the only stuff you can use. Last year was the first year it was more brittle, and that might have had something to do with having to cater to NPPL onsite at the same time.

Paint expenditure is what you make of it. There's some guys that will shoot seven cases in two days, and there's some who won't even shoot 500 rounds. There's also the question of where you chose to fight. If you're in the thick stuff, you'll burn more paint. Then again, if you're in the more open areas, it's a longball game, which is its own difficulty deal. I mix it up through the weekend, between pump, mech, and electro.
