The drone DX is a great marker.

Pump, care to elaborate?

Well, I'd been thinking about an Axe for a long time. The Mini appealed to me, but was too small. I really trust the R&D that went into it (our very own Simon), and a lot of the Mod Squad is picking them up. That's a much more ringing endorsement to me than any pro team shooting them. Along with that, if I need any tech work done, I know I can do that at whatever event we all wind up at once or twice a year.

But yeah, I really hated vertical frames. The Axe frame is more vertical than a standard .45 style frame, so that worried me. I conferred with my colleagues in blue, and got the word that the frame angle is indeed very comfortable, and that from someone who, like me, hated other vertical frames.

I have been able to hold an axe on multiple occasions and agree that it is comfortable. Even for tiny girlish hands lol. So many choices. I also have really been looking into gen 2/3 intimidators. I'm torn between getting a brand new in box gun like an axe or drone which I have never had a new gun before, or a used timmy which is tied with angels as my dream gun from when I first started paintballing.

Isn't Wayne Dollack based in Florida? He's the grandfather of scenario paintball.

That is a prety far drive man. My dad lives in south st. petersburg and he used to have to drive to bradenton for work everyday as well. Not a fun drive to have to do everyday.

Ben I had an axe.

Shot great.

Got rid of it as fast as possible, because it was uncomfortable and the trigger was for child hands. Not to be a 'snob ' but you don't realise how much goes into a high end marker untill you handle one that they cut costs on. The components arnt poor quality but from the engineering side the markers price really stands out.

Oh I also HATED the board.

Truth be known, the mini / axe is a neat concept, it is like an e/x mag but actually works consistently.....

Ppl rip on it (literally and figuratively), but heck, if it works right?

Its a pretty cool place, beaches, theme parks, and a handfull of paintball fields I've made my way south east toward Miami a few times. Miami is ok. South beach is ok if you like hair gel and house music lol.

Damn just checked out wayens world that places looks pretty legit. 24 hour senario games! I could definitely get into that lol. Has any one ever done anything like that? How much does it usually cost? I imagine you go through a ton of paintballs in 24 hours!

I've played countless 24hr games in the last 15 years.

I typically go through 4-6 cases per 24hr game. Back in my stock class days I would shoot about a case and a half per event.

I shoot 10-12 for a 2 day event as well.

Most I ever shot was 11 cases in one day at a local big game in the woods.

I'm trying to decide on fixing my arsenal- the breech tear is as bad as its Gina get. 1/2 inch is all that's hallow . Or just sell it and use what I can get for a dm11 or geo2.1......thoughts are welcome , flaming is a must because I'm a hypocrit.
