Creed vs ego

do the creeds have a similar platform on poppet systems compared to egos or are they very different ? how are creeds similar and how do they vary to egos as far as the poppet system goes

They're similar in almost every way, much like most poppet style guns. The most significant difference is that the creed has a balanced valve system which makes it a little smoother shooting. It's also a bit quieter. I'm pretty sure with all the upgrades the creed is a wee bit more efficient as well but I could be wrong about that. Maintenance wise they're basically the same.

The build quality on the egos is higher(mosly in the grips, anno and button pad), but they were also about 30% more costly(retail). Vanguard has stopped making creeds to focus on the Demon but there are still a few new in box ones out there. I've seen a few on ebay.

Parts and service are still readily available.

a well tuned creed will shoot better than a well tuned ego, but they dont feel like 1200 dollars in your hand. shoot better IMO but dont feel as good when your not playing. i didnt know about the balanced poppit thing, that explains the LPR velocity adjustment right? or is that due to some other force?

I've noticed that my Creed shoots much smoother than my Ego. HOWEVER, I feel like my ego's trigger is more comfortable, and from what I understand Creed's don't have any alternate triggers.

Are they the same configuration as the demon triggers? If so Acid Customs makes some from what I hear. I've never really felt any trigger that was uncomfortable once I set it up properly but to each their own.
