PM8 board - Will not enter configuration mode

Anyone had a problem with a UL board not switching to config/programming mode? I can't remember ever hearing about it on a stock board and a quick search came up empty.

Battery is good, trigger is not depressed, switch 2 on, the marker still powers up in live mode. Other than that, everything appears to be working normally.

I checked resistance through the switch, and switch 1 and 2 are both working properly (= TLR when switch is closed, O-L when open)

Could it be a flashed stock board?
Hold the trigger and cut it on. See if it goes to config mode.

That's the only thing I could think of.

Tried that with all possible switch combination, still the standard LED colors. Blue boot, red/green for no ball/ball, and blinking red/green for eyes off/eye failure.

push the dip switch 2 up and at the same time push the entire assembly up, its a bad solider joint.

Switch assembly is firmly connected, and I when I checked for continuity I did so from the solder points. The switch assembly isn't the problem.
