raven will not fire consistantly

I have a nexion raven or raven nexion however the proper term is and it will not fire consistantly. I pull the trigger the clapper clicks, bolt moves forward. Pull the bolt back and pull the trigger again, nothing. I can pull it for like 12 times before it clicks again. This is all without paint or air, but it does the same with air. Will operate fine once or twice then nothing. Seems like a board or wiring issue as I have replaced the battery with new batteries multiple times. Can I purchase the wiring or a new board?

Are you using the 9.6v that came with the Raven or are you using a regular 9v battery?

Check your capacitor if it looks swollen or bulged it's prob bad and needs to be replaced to work.Def first make sure your battery is new and if it's not the 9.6 it comes with then For sure use only Duracell or Energizer.

The gun will work on a regular 9volt if he doesn't have a 9.6

No... It really needs the 9.6v battery. Ravion nexion is built the same as the STTB spyders well because spyder made them.

get the battery.

If you say so,anyways check the capacitor just to make sure it's not bad then you can worry about the battery after.

The battery will solve all your problems. No need to do that.

He could also shim the sear and use a brand new 9v. Its a bandaid fix you can use while on the field.

It doesn't make sense not to have the 9.6v battery if you use plan on using it.
For the price you can get like 2 9v from Walgreen and that will be only be good for a short time.
