The Hitmen will host a team practice and tryout at Paintball Asylum in Louisville, KY on Saturday December 15th, 2012 from 10 AM to 3 PM. The team will be competing in the SEPS league in 2013 and possibly the NPPL Chicago event.

We are looking to add two D4 players and one D3 player for 2013. People from Southern Illinois, Southern Indiana, and Western Kentucky are welcome to come try out. We will have both a D4 and a D3 roster.

The Hitmen are the 2007 and 2009 SIPA season champs as well as several players being the 2011 SEPS D4 series champs (Blitzkrieg Legends).

In their 2012 debut as a team on the SEPS D3 series, the Hitmen placed 3rd overall and outright won one event. Not bad for their first season together.

Other teams are welcome and encouraged to attend this as a practice. Players from Smokin' Aces are scheduled to be there for some scrimmages as well.

I just confirmed that the Trueballers will be there to run scrimmages as well. This is looking more and more like a great day of ball.

Is this going to be indoor? Do you have prices on paint? BYOP? And is it going to PSP style practice? Anything on Sundays? could possibly bring a line or 2...Thanks

We will only be indoors if it is too cold or raining. So, based on the forecast I saw it will be outside.
My team plays the SEPS which is the old school 5 man. However, we do plan on playing several back to back points when we scrimmage so it will play more like a PSP xball style.

I think the entire field is field paint only but Kenny usually gives us some decent prices on great paint. We usually pay about $50 case for evil. I haven't asked. I just always buy paint at the field I'm playing at so that they can make money and stay open.

Sundays are usually the tournament players, but we play on Saturdays and I think this week Saturday will be much better. Several times a year Saturdays are great and I think this will be one of them.

The Hitmen will have a mix of players, veteran D3 and D4 tournament players and some newer players that have never played with us who are trying out. We will be able to give you some good competition.

The Trueballers are a pump team fresh off a World Cup win and a PSP series championship. They will be breaking out the semis this Saturday to scimmage with us. They will definately give you a game. They are also just a great bunch of guys to hang out with.

So I guess what I'm saying is that we hope to see you there. You won't be dissapointed.

We had a great practice today. Thanks to Jim Wilkinson and his son Josh, Preston Capps, all of our team who made the long drive, and especially the Tennessee Trueballers who gave us some great competition, in an always friendly manner.
