Hmmm I'm looking for a set. I have a few random snow tires laying around in the garage, but none of them are in the best condition. But thank you for the offer!
I have a couple Craigslist leads.
On another note, picked myself up a nice winter beater/DD today! 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. Like new studded snow tires, leather, etc. Pretty good condition. Picked it up for $1,500. Blue Books for like $3400. Had a Jeep fanatic buddy of mine come along with me to look at it, and took it to a shop to get it checked out. They said that it's a solid car and will make a great DD. It's got a few little issues, like the hood and trunk struts are dead, the windshield washer fluid pump needs replacing, the stereo's a little finicky (but I plan on upgrading those anyway), and a couple other small things. Drives and handles like a champ though! Takes the snow up here like it's nothing
On the winter wheel front, I found a set of 17x7.5 green Grids (like your old ones, Colin) for pretty cheap. I'm personally not the biggest fan of non-concave Grids, but for a winter wheel, and for the price, they'll do just fine. I'll probably have them powder coated another color
I'd like a different model Rota, because I have 18x9.5 Grids on my car right now, but I don't really want to pay $800 for a set of new ones. Even used they're still like $700 shipped. So these 17x7.5 Grids will do just fine
