Pretty much, the bike cuts right in front of the STi, clips his bumper, then tries to outrun the STi. He keeps up, bike realizes that he won't be able to get away from him, and the Subie makes him pull into a rest area

Also, I love the wheels, red painted calipers, exhaust, and painted roof on the Outback at 2:25

That would actually be a pretty cool first car. Looks super clean, and the build itself is solid with quality parts

Rant in 3...2...1...

On another note, I was talking to my buddy today, and he mentioned that another...errr..."automotive challenged" friend of ours was saying to him that he could beat my 800whp car (not 800whp yet, but he was basing this race when it will be 800whp) with his stock 600 bike Funny thing is, he doesn't even have this bike yet. Nor does he have his motorcycle license yet. Or even his permit. Nor has he even ever ridden a bike.

He's one of those people who thinks he knows everything about cars, but in reality, doesn't know jack ****. Says he "went to school for cars", needed to have me explain to him what a "custom turbo kit" is, and what it entails.

There's also the fun story about when he wanted to lower his car, and we told him that coilovers would be the best option, and then he goes out and buys springs instead. But just for the rear. Not the front too. He has a V6 Eclipse, which he sold for a truck. But he got a little V6 Ranger, because the "gas mileage is better". Still complains about the gas mileage, and won't drive anywhere because his mileage is so ****ty

It's people like this, who talk **** with no means or knowledge to back it up, that piss me off.

I'd like to rant more, but I'm going to stop now. I think I've made my point to the internets.

We all know people like that. Only thing that gets me is all the lifted diesels around here who think they should race a sports car whenever they see one. I always get nervous around bro trucks now afraid they're going to do something stupid. I've had to evade quite a few now.

On that note, had one black smoke the **** out of me with my window open the other day. Got in front of his *** and downshifted and made him enjoy all 35 mph that slow mother****er was going in the right lane.

I don't necessarily hate on all lifted trucks as a lot of guys around here have them because they need them for their jobs but it's these same guys who have chipped them to smoke everywhere...

Nabbed a nice pic of a local bugeye today. I thought it was interesting.

Saw that on zercustoms a couple weeks ago then lost the link. Kinda funny, but it looks staged since you are getting "back story" then a low speed chase.

It looks clean, but I'm not sure I'd trust any aftermarket turbo setup on a stock bottom end to last very long.

Also, boosted FWD car for first car is asking for trouble.

Honda engines usually do just fine on entirely stock block so long as you don't break 300s or so.

Plus he's had plenty of driving experience in my car and our old Sonata (not much but 200hp in a FWD soo..) he's not exactly inexperienced for his age. We've been discussing getting a hatch anyways to slowly build for him but we don't need two project cars.

Anyways, as per my car, he end of problem fixing is near. We fixed my boost leak yesterday. My front end pop ended up being the auto parts store giving me sedan axles instead of wagon axles. (I'll be getting the replacement for free corporate just has to respond) We have a power steering leak causing an occasional smoking and a good bit lost over the course of a month. My dad thinks he knows where that is. My front end links sound like they're going bad and my back right suspension had something wrong with it, we think it's the strut.

The end is in sight now, that excites us.

I love how you can take a Subaru, a nice reliable car, and just put a Saab badge on it, and suddenly it's got the plague

Also, I dunno. I've seen too many people beat the piss out of even the cleanest Civics. Someone I know has a super clean K20/24 hybrid EG hatch, wire tucked, 5-lug, etc., and he beats the hell out of it every time he drives it.

Ehh it's cause we bought one that was beat to ****. It's cool though, I guess. We've learned a lot about these things. Enough that my brother will definitely be getting a Subaru and my next car will be an STi because we can do any engine bay work that needs to be done pretty quick now.

It's also my opinion anyone who drives a sports car beats their car up a bit. I mean, I don't go WOT everywhere I go but you better believe every on ramp/tunnel/gravel pit I hit gets a nice pull. Plus I live on like a mile long dirt road. It's so tough to keep my car clean...
