Ahh. Nothing like a little paintball for some stress relief.

It has a dual spring just below the barrel. Did it come with grip "panels" to change the feel of the grip?

Yes. Guns. And not the kind you can go out shooting people for fun with.
How was mowing faces?

It's was pleasing. I was particularly satisfied when an annoying ten year old kid kept coming up to me to tell me how nice my marker is, how nice my gear is and that I play well. I hate annoying kids. I'm not sure if I want to smack the kids more or the parents.

could have been worse- he could have added "for an old guy" to those compliments.

Still it was nice to be out. I tagged up with Vicious and Turmoil. Shot many faces. Got hit more than I would have liked by not playing tight. I guess that's bound to happen after nearly six months off.

We had an all steel Kimber to. The USP had less felt recoil. I'm going to look at some Rock Island 45's and see if I can find one to shoot. Heard good things about them.

I had a rock island. Very good for the price. Make sure you change out the buffer spring/plunger for a full length guide rod.
Also, if it was one of those tiny kimbers they won't help. You need at least a 4-5 inch barrel to help control recoil. The full length guide rod will help a lot too.

Wife made a some kind of comment about it being cheaper than paintball. Then we bought 200 rounds of 45.

How much is 45 a round? Reloads for 250 of 40 was 70 after tax at the gun show.
